LOW-BED TRUCK DRIVER (CLASS A)
Full-time · Buena Park, CA · $25–$35+/hr depending on experience
 

The job
You'll haul our heavy equipment between the yard and job sites across Southern California in a Class A manual-transmission truck and low-bed trailer. That means pre- and post-trip inspections, loading, securing and unloading equipment, keeping logs, and working with dispatch, supers and crews to get iron where it needs to be, on time. On site, you'll help position equipment safely.
 

What you need
• Valid Class A CDL, with experience driving a manual (stick shift) truck
• Experience hauling a low-bed, including backing and working in active construction zones
• Experience loading, securing and unloading heavy equipment with proper tie-downs
• Working knowledge of DOT rules and hours-of-service requirements
• A clean driving record that meets our insurance requirements; must pass a background check and drug screen
• Reliable and on time, with flexibility for variable hours when schedules require it
• Able to climb on equipment, secure loads and work outdoors in all conditions
• Construction or heavy-haul experience and knowledge of SoCal routes are a plus
